Ex-Kelkoo co-founder appointed as Commission Junctions first European Sales Director

ValueClick Europe’s Commission Junction division, one of the leading affiliate marketing companies in Europe, has appointed its first European Sales Director.

Pablo Gravier joined on 28 June in the new role and will work with the sales teams in France, UK, Germany and the Nordic region to develop the ongoing the sales strategy and identify new opportunities within the competitive European marketplace. He will also work closely with Client Development Directors in each country to build and maintain senior level client contact with advertisers, agencies and affiliates.

Pablo was previously UK Country Manager for Kayak.com, a top travel site, and before that, in 1999 Pablo was a co-founder of Kelkoo and held the title of VP, Strategy and Business Development.

The UK sales team has also been bolstered by Murray Phillipson who joined as Head of Sales, who arrived from GCap Media on 20 July.

Murray will lead the sales team and will be tasked to add direct and agency clients to the company’s key sector divisions such as travel, retail, finance and telecommunications as well as investigate new channels. Murray was Client Manager at GCap Media where he was responsible for finance, retail, telecoms and media clients. He has also worked in senior sales roles at The Times Newspapers and Media Week.
