StereoVision Entertainment, Inc. (OTC BB: SVSN), a film production company focused exclusively on developing low cost, high-quality, next generation polarized 3-D films, today appointed Theodore Botts, Chief Financial Officer, to its Board of Directors.
“I am delighted that Ted has agreed to join the Board and expand his contribution to the Company,” said Jack Honour, Chief Executive Officer of StereoVision. “His depth of experience in corporate finance, from more than twenty-five years on Wall Street, provides us with the regulatory expertise and corporate governance background we, as a growing Company need to execute our strategy. Further, his important contacts in the financial community are invaluable to our growth.”
Mr. Botts, 62, became Chief Financial Officer of StereoVision in July 2007 after having been a consultant to the Company since 2004. His career on Wall Street spanned more than twenty-five years, including fourteen years at Goldman Sachs, and then, until the year 2000, twelve years as a Managing Director for UBS in London and New York. Since 2000, he has been managing his private financial advisory firm, Kensington Gate Capital. In addition to his roles at StereoVision, Mr. Botts serves as the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a Board Member of HSW International, a NASDAQ- listed online publishing company. He also serves as the head of development for REACH Prep, a non-profit children’s educational organization.
“I am pleased to expand my role within the company by joining the Board at this very exciting time in the Company’s development,” said Mr. Botts. “Our recent presentations at the investor conferences sponsored by Equities Magazine at both NASDAQ and the AIM in London have led to a new level of attention from, and dialogue with, the investment community. In addition, Hollywood has embraced the business plan we have had in place for some time, namely the production of polarized 3-D films. In fact, we have had requests from major studios for our Aubrey Blaze Piranhas 3-D script. I look forward to continuing my contribution to what I believe is a very exciting future for the Company.”
