Greenlight continues rapid expansion with appointment of CFO
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) specialist, Greenlight, today announces its continued expansion with the appointment of Keith Griffiths as Chief Financial Officer.
As CFO, Griffiths will help to guide the business through its rapid expansion plans in the UK and, following the opening of Greenlight’s New York office in 2006, support the company in its international growth. With Greenlight’s turnover increasing by 300 per cent in the past year, Griffiths will implement the necessary controls and procedures for such a rapidly expanding business.
Griffiths joins Greenlight after almost four years as Head of Finance for Deal Group Media Plc, an AIM listed business with operations worldwide, where Keith was responsible for operations in UK, Australia, India, Singapore, and Spain.
This appointment mirrors the continued growth of specialist search agencies. Greenlight compounds this growth with a series of seven figure deals including America Express’ SEO and PPC accounts, confirming that search specialists are in high demand.
Griffiths comes to Greenlight with over 30 years of business experience, specialising in online and marketing services. Having built and run Rote Public Relations in 1975 before it was sold on to a large, global agency, Griffiths integrates well with Greenlight’s entrepreneurial culture.
Speaking on his appointment, Griffiths remarks: “The huge pace of momentum and spend in the search agency sector really highlights the fact that clients are turning to specialists, like Greenlight, in their droves. It’s the perfect time to get involved with such an exciting industry.
“With competitors merging with larger companies last year, its great to be working with the UK’s leading independent search agency, helping to steer them through their rapid expansion.”
Warren Cowan, CEO of Greenlight, commented: “Greenlight’s major new account wins are pushing forward our recruitment and global expansion drive. We’re delighted to welcome Keith onboard and are continuing to sign-up new talent to help achieve our ambitious targets.”
