As a result of these concessions, exotic woods like Rosewood, Mahogany, and Brazilian Cherry – sought after worldwide for their beauty and durability – are now available to timber markets worldwide. In fact all of the timber in the 176,000 acre concession has been pre-sold to the company’s largest wholesalers. To fulfill these orders all the timber must be harvested within the next three years before the timber begins to decay.
According to Steven Muehler, President of LA Investment Capital, A capital investment of $36 million dollars by “LA Investment Capital Alternative Investments Fund I” is anticipated to return $103 million dollars to “LA Investment Capital Alternative Investments Fund I” over a three year period.
