Prominent Kansas City Wealth Manager Joins Elite Team At Independent Broker/Dealer Geneos Wealth Management

Published February 10th, 2010

Denver, CO – February 10, 2010 – Geneos Wealth Management, Inc., a Denver-based broker/dealer serving the investment industry’s most elite financial advisors, today announced that Integrated Wealth Advisory Services, a leading Kansas City financial advisor, has joined G5 Financial Group.

The six-person Integrated team manages approximately $140 million in assets for individuals and small businesses across 16 states. Senior partner Jack Lindsey launched the firm in 1984 and was a leader in providing fee-based advisory services. In addition to Mr. Lindsay, who holds both CFP and CPA designations, Integrated’s planning professionals include Craig Splan, CFP, and Tray Wiltse.

“We’ve known the folks at G5 Financial Group for a long time,” said Mr. Lindsay, “and we match up well with the group’s centric method of providing financial advice. We also agree that the G5 business model is a perfect fit for Geneos. We’re particularly drawn to the notion of actively participating in the direction of both of these growing operations.”

Geneos has become a preferred destination for top financial advisors seeking to establish their own brand and their own independent practices. G5 Financial, with seven offices up and down Colorado’s Front Range, moved its operation to Geneos in April 2008. In addition to fee-based financial advice and planning services for individuals, G5 advisors work with trusts, pension plans, small businesses, institutions, and corporations across the country.

“With Geneos, we have a platform that enables us to grow our clients’ wealth and grow our practice at the same time,’ said G5 Partner Lowell Adrian. “And with Integrated Wealth Advisory Services, we’re gaining associates that share our vision of providing the highest caliber of advice and service. I couldn’t be more excited about our shared futures.”

According to Mr. Lindsay, an increasing amount of the work at Integrated is focused around wealth transition activity, specifically retirement planning and business continuity. Leveraging the professional knowledge and client assets of the two firms is expected to provide a significant boost to those efforts, both for the firms and for their clients.

“The Geneos culture is built around personal relationships and advisor ownership,” said Geneos President and CEO Russ Diachok. “It’s a perfect environment for great wealth managers like G5 Financial Group and Integrated Wealth Advisory Services to serve their clients across the very long term.”
